We created a design portfolio, company profile and e-commerce website for wallpaper and fabric company Marthe Armitage Prints Limited.
All of Marthe Armitage’s designs are hand drawn and then cut from lino, originally all their wallpapers were only offered as handprints, directly from the original lino plates, but under the stewardship of Marthe’s daughter Jo Broadhurst, the company has modernised and broadened the offer to digital and wide-format outputs.
The website needed to reflect the handcrafted origins of their work, but also present the care and attention to detail they apply to the digital and screen printed applications of their designs.

Inspired by the layers of sample sheets in the printing studio, the gallery pages use accordion sliders to present a selection of Marthe Armitage’s designs.

Presentation of Marthe Armitage’s entire design library. Allows the viewer to filter by production method.

A rich and detailed presentation of each design offers the viewer multiple colourways and scales to explore.
Fabric designs allow the viewer to zoom in and see the detail and texture of the print.

The number of repeats can be altered on wallpaper designs to offer a sense of how each design can fill an entire wall.
