Website Design & Build

Design and build of a new e-commerce website for Bentleys, a luxury antiques dealer located in Chelsea’s Pimlico Road design district.

Bentleys’ collection is comprised of extraordinary items created by the finest craftspeople of their era, the new website needed to delve deeper into the details and bring the qualities of the products as close to the viewer as possible in order to promote confidence in purchasing online.

The fullscreen and responsive homepage uses a variety of layouts to create a similar pace of visual merchandising that you would find in the shop itself, carefully curated product stories are spotlighted against a backdrop of rich layers of leather, metal and glassware.

Built as a bespoke template for Shopify, we created a heavily customised CMS that allows the site to support Bentleys’ business model such as seamlessly diverting high-value shopping baskets to an order submission form, and pre-basket checking for shipping locations on restricted items. It was also essential that a single CMS powered both the e-commerce and information pages.

The website features a fully mobile-optimised version as standard on all of our websites.
